Food-feed system

Food-feed systems are a way to make sure that everyone has enough food to eat. It works by having farmers grow plants, usually fruits and vegetables, on farms. Then the harvested plants are sent to grocery stores or restaurants, where people can buy them. The food is also sent to food banks and other organizations that help people who can't afford to buy it. Finally, the food is also sent to animal feed operations, which provide food for livestock.
