ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Forage (honeybee)

So imagine you are a honeybee and you need to look for food to make honey. You fly out of your hive and start looking for flowers. This is called foraging.

When you find a good flower, you use your mouth to suck up nectar from the flower. Nectar is a sweet liquid that the flower makes.

While you are drinking the nectar, you use your legs to collect pollen from the flower. Pollen is a powdery substance that helps plants make more flowers.

Once you have collected both nectar and pollen, you fly back to your hive to share with your friends. That's how honeybees forage!
