Forensic chemistry

Forensic chemistry is a type of science that helps solve crime cases. Forensic chemists work with police officers and other investigators to analyze evidence from crime scenes to answer questions about what happened. They use special chemicals or gases to look for fingerprints, blood or other signs to figure out who did something or what happened to cause the crime. They also use their knowledge of chemistry to look for clues on how a weapon was used or how a bomb was made. Forensic chemists help make sure that bad guys are punished for the crimes they do.
