Foresight (future studies)

Foresight (also known as future studies) is the ability to think about the future and plan for what might happen. It is like being a fortune teller, but instead of predicting what will happen, you are using your imagination to think of different possible futures and planning for how to make them happen. For example, if you foresaw that a new technology might become popular in five years, you might decide to start studying it ahead of time so you can be prepared to use it when it arrives.
