Forgotten baby syndrome

Forgotten baby syndrome is when a parent or caregiver forgets that a baby or young child is in the car with them. This is very dangerous because the child can become very sick or even die if they are left in a hot car for too long.

Sometimes, parents or caregivers are very tired or distracted and they don't remember that the child is in the car. Other times, parents or caregivers might think that someone else has taken the child out of the car, but really nobody has.

To prevent this from happening, parents and caregivers should always check the back seat of the car before they get out, even if they think they haven't brought the child with them. They should also never leave a child alone in a car, even for just a minute.

It's important to remember that children are very fragile, and it's the job of parents and caregivers to keep them safe.
