Four-Power Pact

Okay kiddo, have you ever played games with your friends where you all agree to certain rules beforehand? That way, everyone knows what they can and cannot do and it makes the game fair and fun for everyone, right?

Well, back in a long long time ago, there were four countries: Great Britain, France, Italy, and Japan. These four countries were afraid of each other and didn't want to fight each other. So they decided to make a pact, which is like a promise they all agreed to.

The pact is called the Four-Power Pact, and it was signed on June 13, 1933. The promise was that if any of the four countries had a problem or a conflict with each other, they would try to talk it out instead of fighting. They promised to work together to find a peaceful solution.

It's like if you and your friends made a promise that if you have an argument, you'll try to talk things out before getting mad or fighting each other. That way, everyone knows what to expect, and everyone can work things out peacefully and happily.

So the Four-Power Pact was an agreement between these four countries to work together, talk things out, and avoid fighting. It was a way to keep the peace and avoid conflicts between them.
