Foveated imaging

Hi there! Do you know what your eyes do when you look at something? They focus on it to see all the details clearly.

Well, foveated imaging is kind of like that! It's a super fancy camera that can focus on specific parts of a picture to make them really clear, while leaving the other parts blurry.

This is helpful because it saves a lot of processing power and memory. Let's say you're looking at a picture of a beautiful sunset. Your eyes might want to focus on the bright sun in the center, but all the colors and details around it are also important.

With foveated imaging, the camera can take a really clear picture of the sun, while keeping the other parts of the picture a little blurry. This saves space on your computer or phone because it doesn't have to store as much data.

Overall, foveated imaging is a way to take pictures that are just as clear as regular ones, but don't take up as much space!
