France–Africa relations

France–Africa relations refer to the relationship between France and the countries of Africa. France is one of the major partners of African countries, and has a big presence in the continent. France has had a long relationship with African countries, and have close ties both economically, politically and culturally. They support each other in many different ways, like they help each other in trade and investment, they work together in diplomacy and they share cultures, beliefs and values. France also has military bases in some African countries and they help build strong relationships between them.
