Free association (communism and anarchism)

Free association is a philosophical idea that says people should be able to live, work, and associate with each other without control from any outside authority. Communism and anarchism are two related political philosophies which both believe in this concept of free association. Communism is all about having the same ownership of all the land and resources, and sharing the profits amongst everyone. Anarchism is about having a society without any kind of government, where everyone makes decisions together without any kind of top down power structures.
