ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Freedom of speech in Iran

In Iran, people are allowed to say what they want but the government watches and controls what they say. The government has rules that limit what you can say about certain things, like the leaders or the religion. If you say something that goes against these rules, you could get in trouble or even be punished. This means that people in Iran have to be careful about what they say in public. But, some people still speak out and share their opinions, even if it means getting into trouble. It's important to remember that even though there are rules, everyone should be allowed to express themselves freely and stay safe while doing so.
