Freeman Dyson was a scientist and mathematician who lived from 1923 to 2020. He is famous for his work on physics, mathematics and space exploration. He made many important discoveries, including understanding how stars work, predicting new shapes of molecules, and creating the mathematics needed to model the universe. He also worked on developing the first atomic bomb and was involved in projects to send humans to the moon and beyond. He was the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1979.
