French Canadians are Canadians who speak French, which is a language spoken mainly in France, parts of Belgium and Luxembourg, parts of Switzerland, as well as in some regions of Canada. There are lots of French-speaking people in Canada, mostly in the provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick. These people have a distinctive culture and history and celebrate many traditions, such as festivals and celebrations for special occasions like Christmas and Easter. They may also have traditional foods and ways of speaking French.
