French Israelism

French Israelism is an idea developed by a French philosopher named Pierre-André Taguieff. He argued that there is a French version of Jewish nationalism called French Israelism. This idea states that the French should see themselves as a kind of modern "chosen people," a nation that is special and chosen by God. This means that the French believe that they should have greater rights and freedom than other countries and be the leaders in Europe. It also means that the French should be active in supporting the state of Israel, which is the homeland of the Jewish people. Finally, it means that the French should strive to be an example for other nations by living according to moral and ethical principles.
