French–German enmity

French–German enmity is when two countries don't like each other. France and Germany have been enemies many times in the past, like in wars. Both countries have different customs, languages, and even foods. And, for a long time, each country wanted to be the most powerful in Europe. This competition over power caused a lot of tension and made them not get along. Even though this enmity has lessened over time, some people in both countries still don't like the other.
