ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fully Informed Jury Association

Fully Informed Jury Association (FIJA) is an organization that helps people understand their rights as jurors in a court case. When you are chosen to be on a jury, the judge in the case will explain to you the law and how it applies to the case. FIJA helps to educate people about their rights so they can use these rights to make sure that justice is served. FIJA believes that every person has the right to a jury of their peers - this means that the jury should be made up of people who understand the law and can make a decision that is fair and just. FIJA helps to make sure that this right is protected, so that people can have confidence in the justice system.
