Function field (scheme theory) is a way of looking at mathematics that deals with relationships between different sets of things. It studies how different sets of things can influence each other, like how numbers can be used to solve problems. In scheme theory, we use functions (sets of rules) to figure out how different sets of things are related. For example, if we have a set of numbers and we want to find out how they fit together, we can use a function to figure out how they're related. Function fields are one way to look at mathematical problems and find solutions.
