ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fungibility

Fungibility is when something is interchangeable with something else. It means that it can be exchanged for something similar. For example, money is fungible; you can exchange $1 for four quarters and the amount of money you have is still the same. You can also exchange one apple for another apple and still have the same amount of apples.
