Fur trade

Fur trade is when people catch animals like beavers and sell their fur to other people for money. People like to wear clothes and hats made from the fur because it keeps them warm and looks pretty.

First, hunters go out into the wild to find beavers. They set up traps or hunt them with guns or bows and arrows. They catch them and take their fur.

Then, traders come to buy the fur from the hunters. They give them money or things they need like food, guns, and blankets. The traders take the fur to cities to sell it to other people.

People in cities like to buy fur because it can keep them warm in the winter. They also like to wear fur clothes and hats because they look nice.

Fur trade used to be really popular a long time ago. People from Europe and America traded fur with Native Americans and people who lived in other places. It helped them make friends and trade other things like food and clothing.

Today, some people still trade and sell fur, but it is not as popular as it used to be because some people think it is not nice to kill animals just for their fur.
