Futurology

Futurology is the study of how the future will be. People who study futurology try to predict what life will be like in the future by looking at trends in technology, economics, and the environment. They look at what changes are happening now, and then try to imagine how those changes might lead to new things in the future. For example, they might look at what computers can do today, and then try to imagine what new pieces of technology will exist in the future. By looking at current trends, futurologists hope to better anticipate what the future will look like.
