Fuzzball (string theory)

Fuzzballs are special shapes that scientists think exist in space at really tiny scales. They are part of something called String Theory, which is a way of understanding how particles and other things move around in space. String Theory says that the universe is made up of really tiny, vibrating strings, and that these strings can be shaped into different forms-- like fuzzballs.
