Fyodor Dostoevsky
Fyodor Dostoevsky was a man who lived a very long time ago in a country called Russia. He was a very famous writer who wrote books that lots of people still read today.
One of the things that made Dostoevsky special was that he wrote stories that were about real people and their feelings. His characters were not perfect, and they made mistakes just like you and me. He wrote about things that were very important to people, like love, friendship, and the meaning of life.
Dostoevsky's books were not easy to read, though. They had lots of big words and some of them were very long (a bit like a grown-up book). But grown-ups really liked them because they made them think about things in a different way.
One of his most famous books is called "Crime and Punishment." It is about a man who commits a crime and has to deal with the thoughts and feelings that come with it. Another famous book is called "The Brothers Karamazov," which is about three brothers and their relationships with each other and their father.
