GPS for the visually impaired

GPS stands for Global Positioning System. It's a way to figure out exactly where you are in the world using satellites up in space.

Some people have trouble seeing and might get lost when they're out and about. But with GPS made for the visually impaired, they can use special tools to help guide them where they need to go.

For example, someone might have a device that talks to them and gives them directions out loud. It might say something like "turn left in 50 feet" or "cross the street and then turn right."

The device might also vibrate or make a sound to let the person know they're getting closer to their destination. This way, they don't have to rely on their eyes to know where to go.

By using GPS made for the visually impaired, people can feel more confident and independent when they're out and about, and can go wherever they want without worrying about getting lost.
