Galley

A galley is a kitchen on a big boat. Just like your kitchen at home, the galley has everything a cook needs to make yummy food. But because the boat is moving and can be tossed around by waves, the galley has to be built so that everything stays in place and doesn't fall over. The cook also has to be careful not to spill hot food or boiling water. So, the galley is a special kitchen made just for cooking on a boat.
