Garden trellis

A garden trellis is like a ladder for plants. Plants need support to grow tall, and a trellis helps give them a boost.

Imagine you have a plant that is growing on the ground. It might start to spread out and take up a lot of space. But if you could get it to grow up instead of out, it would take up less space and look really pretty!

That's where a trellis comes in. A trellis is usually made of wood or metal and has a bunch of criss-crossing lines. You can stand it up in your garden near your plant and then gently encourage your plant to climb up it.

The lines on the trellis give the plant something to hold on to as it grows. The plant will start to wrap its tendrils (little arms) around the lines and use them to climb higher and higher.

As the plant grows up the trellis, it will start to cover the criss-crossing lines with leaves and flowers. This will make your garden look really full and lush!

So, to sum up: a garden trellis is like a ladder for plants. It helps your plants grow up instead of out, and makes your garden look amazing!
