Gas turbine

A gas turbine is a machine that uses hot air to spin a fan inside to make power. The hot air is produced by burning fuels such as natural gas or fuel oil. The fan spins blades, like a windmill does, and the blades turn a shaft that is connected to an electric generator. The electric generator makes electricity that can be used to power things like factories, ships, airplanes, or other machines.
