Gautama Buddha in world religions

Okay, so Gautama Buddha is a very important person in a religion called Buddhism. Buddhism is a religion that started in a country called India many, many years ago.

Gautama Buddha was a man who was very curious about life and how to be happy. He wanted to know why people were sad and how they could be happy. He left his fancy life as a prince and went off on a journey to find the answers to his questions.

After a long time, he finally found what he was looking for and became known as the Buddha. He taught people how to live happy and peaceful lives by following something called the Eightfold Path.

People all over the world now follow Buddhism and try to live their lives just like the Buddha did. He is considered a very important person in many world religions and is respected and admired by millions of people.
