Geisha

Okay, so you know how sometimes you see fancy ladies all dressed up in pretty clothes and makeup? Well, in Japan there are special ladies called geisha who are really good at things like dancing, playing instruments, and having conversations with important people.

Geisha wear special outfits called kimono that are very colorful and have lots of pretty designs on them. They also wear makeup that is very different from regular makeup - it makes their skin look really white and their lips look really red.

Geisha train for many years to learn all the things they need to know to be really good at their job. They go to special schools where they learn how to dance gracefully, play music on instruments like the shamisen, and have interesting conversations with people.

When they are working, geisha go to parties and events where important people are. They entertain the guests by performing dances, singing songs, and playing music. They also talk with them and make them feel important.

Being a geisha is a very respected and important job in Japan. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to become one, but once you do, you get to wear beautiful clothes, meet important people, and have lots of fun!
