Geisha and prostitution

They dress up in beautiful outfits with big colorful kimonos and white makeup on their faces. They work very hard to learn all of their skills and they are respected in Japan as artists.

Now, let's talk about prostitution. This is when people pay money to have sex with someone. This is not an honorable job and it is illegal in many places. In the past, there were some people who confused geishas with prostitutes. This is because they both spend time with men and they both get paid for their work.

However, geishas are not prostitutes. Geishas never have sex with their customers. Their job is to entertain their customers with their special skills, not to have sex with them. Even though some people may have thought geishas were prostitutes in the past, this is not true.

So, to wrap things up little one, geishas are women who have special artistic skills and they are not prostitutes. Prostitution is a bad job where people pay for sex, and it is not the same as being a geisha.
