Gender HCI stands for Gender and Human Computer Interaction. It is a way of finding out how people who identify with different genders experience technology. For example, someone might study how comfortable or easy it is to use a certain computer program, or website, and find out how different groups of people experience it. For example, someone might find that women tend to find a certain website or program more difficult to use than men, or vice versa. The goal of Gender HCI is to make sure that everyone is able to use the technology comfortably and easily, no matter what gender they identify with.
