Genetics and abortion

Alright kiddo, let me tell you about genetics and abortion. Do you know that our bodies are made up of tiny building blocks called cells? Inside these cells are even tinier things called chromosomes, which are like our body's instruction manual. They tell the cells how to grow and what to do.

Now let's talk about a mommy's tummy. Sometimes, when a mommy and daddy decide to have a baby, the baby's cells start to grow in mommy's tummy. Sometimes, though, some things can go wrong during that process. For example, sometimes a baby's chromosomes get mixed up or don't work right, and that can cause something called a genetic disorder. It means the baby's body doesn't grow and work like it should.

If this happens, sometimes the mommy and daddy might have to make a hard decision. They might decide that it's best not to have the baby. This is called an abortion. An abortion is when the baby is not allowed to grow anymore and is removed from mommy's tummy.

This is a hard decision to make, but sometimes it is the best decision to make sure that the baby doesn't suffer and that mommy stays healthy too. It's important to talk to doctors and family if you are ever faced with a decision like this, so they can help you make the best choice for you and your baby.
