Genocide studies

Okay kiddo, genocide studies is a subject that is all about studying and understanding one of the most terrible things that can happen in the world - genocide.

Genocide is when one group of people (we'll call them Group A) tries to get rid of another group (Group B) just because they are different from them. It could be because of their race, religion, culture, or anything else that makes them different.

Now, genocide studies is all about trying to learn how and why genocides happen, how to prevent them, and how to help those who survive them. It's also about making sure that people never forget what happened during these genocides, and making sure that we learn from our mistakes in the past so that it never happens again.

So basically, genocide studies is all about understanding the really bad things that can happen in the world and working hard to make sure that they never happen again.
