Geodesic circle

A geodesic circle is a special type of circle that is used a lot in mathematics and science. It's like a regular circle, except that it follows a curved path, instead of a straight one. The curved path that a geodesic circle follows is called a geodesic line. It has to do with the way the Earth curves and circles have to follow the curves of the Earth. They are important in science because they help scientists understand things like the shape of the Earth and why things move in certain ways.
