Geography of Mexico

Mexico is a big country that is located in a part of the world called North America, which is up on the tippy top of the planet Earth. Mexico is right next to the United States of America and also touches the big, blue ocean called the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea on the other side.

Mexico is made up of many different parts called states that all have their own special features. One of the most famous parts of Mexico is a long, skinny strip called the Baja Peninsula that sticks out into the ocean like a giant finger. The people who live in Mexico have different traditions and ways of living depending on where they live. There are over 120 million people who live in Mexico and they speak many different languages, but the main language is Spanish.

Mexico is also known for its delicious food, like tacos, guacamole, and salsa. There are many different types of foods that come from Mexico and they are enjoyed all over the world.
