Geography of North Korea

North Korea is a country in Asia, next to South Korea and China. It has mountains, hills, and valleys, which means there are lots of different kinds of landscapes.

In the north of North Korea, there are tall mountains which are really high, rocky and steep. These mountains are called the Changbai Mountains. In the middle of the country, there are lots of hills and valleys, which makes it a bit easier to travel around. And in the south, there are some coastal plains which are flat, and easier to farm on.

North Korea has lots of rivers, including the Yalu, Tumen, and Taedong rivers. These rivers are important for transportation and for agriculture, which is when people grow food like rice and vegetables.

North Korea has a very cold climate in winter, so people wear warm clothes like scarves, hats, and gloves. In summer, it can be hot and rainy, so people wear light clothes like shorts and t-shirts.

Overall, North Korea has lots of different landscapes and climates, which makes it an interesting place to explore and learn about.
