Geophysical survey

A geophysical survey is a way for scientists to learn more about what is underneath the surface of Earth. It uses special instruments or tools to measure and collect data about the Earth. The data gathered during the survey can be used to identify things such as what kind of material is in the ground, the shape of the ground, or where there might be rocks, gas, or oil that can be extracted. Geophysical surveys can also be used to find and map archeological sites or to help predict natural disasters like earthquakes or volcanoes.
