German Americans

German Americans are people who are living in the United States who either have ancestors from Germany (or a German-speaking country) or who were born in Germany and have now moved to the United States. They make up the largest ethnic group of European Americans in the country. Many German Americans celebrate German holidays, traditional foods, music, and language to show their heritage. German Americans often take pride in their rich cultural history and continue to celebrate it today.
