German operation of the NKVD

The NKVD was a secret police force in the Soviet Union during the 1930s and 1940s. During World War II, Germany invaded the Soviet Union and started a secret operation called Operation NKVD. This operation was meant to eliminate people seen as a threat to the German government by arresting, torturing, and killing them. In some cases, the Germans even forced people to become spies for them. This was a horrible thing for the German soldiers to do, and it caused a lot of pain and suffering for the people of the Soviet Union.
