Gerontechnology is a field of study that focuses on creating technology that is specifically designed to help elderly people. Gerontechnology includes not only physical tools and devices (like walkers and hearing aids), but also things like software that reminds people to take their medications, or systems that check in on elderly people to make sure they are safe. Gerontechnology is designed to help make it easier and safer for older people to do everyday activities.
