Ghada Karmi

Ghada Karmi is a person, just like you and me! She was born in Palestine, which is a place in the Middle East. When Ghada was growing up, Palestine was not its own country yet. It was part of a bigger country called Palestine Mandate, which was controlled by Britain.

Ghada's family had to leave Palestine when she was a little girl. They moved to England, which is a different country. When Ghada was growing up in England, she learned a lot about the world and different cultures. She also learned about the history of Palestine and how it was important for her to keep her connection to her home.

As an adult, Ghada studied to become a doctor. But she didn't want to be just any doctor. She wanted to help Palestine and its people. So she became a political activist, which means she works to make positive changes in the government and society.

Ghada has written many books and given speeches about Palestine and the struggles that its people face. She wants people all over the world to know about the situation in Palestine and how it's important to work towards a peaceful solution.

So, in summary, Ghada Karmi is a person who was born in Palestine but grew up in England. She became a political activist and wants to help her home country and its people.
