Glass-to-metal seal

Ok let's imagine you have a glass bottle and you want to put something inside it but you don't want it to come out. To do that, you need to seal the top of the bottle with something that can keep the stuff inside without letting it leak. A glass-to-metal seal is when you use both glass and metal to make a super strong seal that is really hard to break.

First, you have to melt the glass and stick it to the metal part you want to seal. This is kind of like when you use glue to stick things together. The glass is like glue, but it is melted and really hot so you have to be careful not to touch it.

Once the glass is stuck to the metal, you let it cool down slowly. This is important because if it cools down too fast, it can crack and break. Just like if you put something really hot in cold water, it can break because of the sudden change in temperature.

When the glass and metal have cooled down, they become one solid piece. This is why a glass-to-metal seal is so strong. It's like the glass and metal have become best friends and they don't want to be separated.

This kind of seal is really important because it is used in things like light bulbs, electronic devices, and even some medical equipment. These things need to have a seal that can handle high temperatures, pressure, and be really strong. A glass-to-metal seal is a perfect solution because it is strong, durable, and won't let anything leak out.
