Glazed architectural terra-cotta

Okay kiddo, do you know what clay is? It's like play-doh but a special kind that's made by baking it in an oven. People used to make big blocks of that clay and then they cut them into different shapes and sizes to make buildings. These blocks were called terra-cotta.

Now, glazed architectural terra-cotta is similar to ordinary terra-cotta, but with an extra layer of shiny and colorful glaze on top. Think of it like adding a shiny layer of nail polish to your nails.

This shiny layer helps protect the terra-cotta from getting damaged by water, weather, and pollution. Also, it adds different colors and textures to the building which make it look more beautiful and fancy.

People sometimes use glazed architectural terra-cotta to make decorations on the buildings like lions, flowers, or even angels. It's a very special kind of clay that makes buildings look amazing!
