ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Global digital divide

The global digital divide is when some people in the world have access to computers and the internet, and other people in the world don't. People who have access can use computers and the internet for doing homework, connecting with family who are far away, or learning new skills. People who don't have access can't enjoy these benefits and usually have fewer opportunities. It's like a really huge, global gap between people with access to technology and those without access.
