ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Global mode

Okay kiddo, so you know how different countries have different rules and languages? Global mode is like a special mode on your computer or phone that makes it think it's in a different country.

So let's say you're in America and you want to watch a movie, but it's only available in Japan. Normally, you wouldn't be able to see it because you're not in Japan. But if you turn on global mode, your computer or phone will pretend that it's in Japan, and now you can watch the movie!

Global mode is helpful for lots of things, like accessing websites that are only available in certain countries or using apps that are restricted in your area. It's kind of like having a special passport that lets you go anywhere in the virtual world!
