Globe valve

A globe valve is a special thing that helps to control the flow of liquid or gas through a pipe. It's like a little door that you can open or close to let more or less liquid or gas through.

Globe valves are made up of three main parts. The first part is the valve body, which is the main part of the valve that holds everything else together. The second part is the plug or disc, which is the part of the valve that moves up and down to control the flow of liquid or gas. The third part is the stem, which is the part that connects the disc to the knob or handle on the outside of the valve.

When you turn the knob or handle on the outside of the valve, it moves the stem, which then moves the disc up or down. This controls how much liquid or gas can pass through the valve. If you turn the knob or handle all the way, the disc will completely block the flow of liquid or gas. If you turn it just a little bit, it will allow just a little bit of liquid or gas to pass through.

Globe valves are used in lots of different types of machines and equipment, like boilers, fire sprinkler systems, and water treatment plants. They're really important because they help to make sure that the right amount of liquid or gas is flowing through the equipment at all times.
