Golomb–Dickman constant

Imagine you have a big pile of marbles and you want to divide them equally into smaller piles.

Now, the Golomb-Dickman constant tells you how many marbles you can put in each of those smaller piles, so that the probability of each pile having the same number of marbles is the highest.

It is a very special number that mathematicians have figured out, and it helps them solve some really complicated problems. It's like a treasure map that shows you where to dig for the perfect answer, without having to try every possible way first!
