Gonadotropin

Okay kiddo, so gonadotropin is a special type of hormone that helps our bodies grow and develop. These hormones are made in the brain and they control the activity of our sexual organs, like our ovaries or testicles.

Think of gonadotropin like a captain of a ship. It tells our reproductive system what to do and when to do it. For example, when we go through puberty, our bodies start to make more of these hormones, which triggers the growth and development of our sexual organs.

Gonadotropin also plays a big role in a woman's menstrual cycle. When a woman ovulates, which means an egg is released from her ovary, it's because of the hormone LH which is a type of gonadotropin.

So, to put it simply, gonadotropin is like a boss that tells our bodies when and how to grow and develop our sexual organs, and helps regulate our reproductive functions.
