Good faith (law)

Good faith is a legal concept used in law. It means that people should be honest and follow the rules when they enter into contracts or agreements with each other. For example, if two people enter into a contract to buy a house, each person should be honest in what they are promising and try their best to follow through with the agreement. When someone acts in good faith, it shows that they are trustworthy and reliable.
