ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Good's buffers

So, imagine you have a toy box with lots of different toys inside. When you take one toy out of the box, it can sometimes get a little lonely. But, if there are lots of toys in the box that are similar to the one you took out, it won't feel so lonely and sad anymore.

This is kinda like what good's buffers do. They are chemicals that help keep other chemicals in a solution at the same level, just like the toys in the toy box. Sometimes, if we add acid or base to a solution, it can change the pH level and cause problems. But, if we add a good's buffer to the solution, it can help keep the pH level steady and prevent those problems from happening.

So, good's buffers are like the superheroes of chemistry, keeping chemicals in a solution happy and stable.
