Gopuram

A gopuram is like a very big, tall tower that you can usually find in a Hindu temple. It is like the temple's entrance and it helps show everyone that it is a special and holy place. The gopuram has lots of beautiful and colorful decorations on it that can sometimes tell you stories about the gods and goddesses that people worship at the temple. People may also use the gopurams to help them find their way to the temple because they can usually see it from far away!
