Gothic alphabet

Okay kiddo, so the Gothic alphabet is a way of writing letters that was used a really long time ago, by a group of people called the Goths.

The Goths lived in Europe a long time ago, before you were even born. And they used this special way of writing letters to communicate with each other and write down important things.

The Gothic alphabet has some letters that look different from the ones we use today. For example, instead of the letter "A" that we use, the Gothic alphabet has a letter that looks more like a lower-case "v" with a little line across the top.

It's kind of like a secret code that only the Goths could read and understand. Today, not many people use the Gothic alphabet anymore, but sometimes you might see it on a spooky Halloween decoration or something, because it looks really cool and mysterious.
